Celebrating Research Excellence, Innovation and Industry Impact
The Organizing Committee of ICSCCT 2026 proudly announces a series of prestigious Awards and Recognitions to honor researchers, academicians, and professionals who have demonstrated outstanding contributions in computational research, data analytics, and industrial applications.
The awards will be conferred during the Valedictory Ceremony at University of Malta, Msida Campus, Malta.

Award Categories
Best Paper Award
Presented to the paper that demonstrates exceptional originality, technical merit, and potential for significant impact in the field of computational techniques, data analytics, and related domains.
Selection Basis: Reviewer evaluations, technical depth, and presentation quality.
Best Student Paper Award
Awarded to an outstanding paper authored and presented by a student, recognizing emerging talent and innovation in academic research.
Eligibility: The first author must be a full-time student (undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral).
Best Oral Presentation Award
Recognizes the author delivering the most engaging and well-structured oral presentation during the technical sessions.
Evaluation Parameters: Clarity, organization, confidence, timing, and audience engagement.
Best Poster Presentation Award
Honors the most visually appealing and technically robust poster presentation.
Evaluation Parameters: Poster design, clarity of content, originality, and communication effectiveness.
Young Researcher Award
Acknowledges the research excellence and innovation of early-career researchers who have demonstrated outstanding potential in their respective domains.
Eligibility: Researchers within five years of completing their Ph.D
Outstanding Reviewer Award
Recognizes reviewers for their exceptional and constructive feedback that contributed significantly to maintaining the high scientific quality of ICSCCT 2026.
Outstanding Contribution to the Research
Bestowed upon an individual (organizer, keynote speaker, or volunteer) who has shown exemplary dedication and contribution toward the success of ICSCCT 2026.
Industry Excellence Awards
To bridge the gap between academia and industry, ICSCCT 2026 introduces Industry-Specific Excellence Awards recognizing applied research, innovation, and real-world impact in leading technology domains.
Cloud Computing Innovation Awards
For outstanding research or implementation advancing cloud architecture, optimization, or security solutions.
Large Language Model (LLM) Application Awards
Recognizes pioneering work in leveraging LLMs for cybersecurity, data analytics, healthcare, or enterprise automation.
Database and Data Management Excellence Awards
Honors significant contributions to database design, big data processing, storage efficiency, or intelligent data retrieval systems.
SAP and Enterprise System Innovation Awards
Presented for impactful advancements or integrations using SAP technologies or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for business and operational excellence.
AI and Machine Learning for Industry Transformation Awards
Acknowledges cutting-edge AI/ML-driven solutions with measurable industrial or societal impact in fields such as manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and logistics.
Emerging Technology Impact Awards
Recognizes innovations in areas such as blockchain, IoT, edge computing, quantum data analytics, or robotics that demonstrate transformative potential.
Best Industry–Academia Collaboration Awards
Celebrates a successful partnership between academia and industry resulting in meaningful applied research or technology transfer outcomes.
Open Nominations and New Award Proposals
To encourage inclusivity and innovation, nominators may also propose new award categories not listed above. Such nominations should be justified with:
- A clear description of the award theme or focus area,
- Rationale for its relevance to ICSCCT 2026 themes, and
- Evidence of achievement or contribution by the nominee.
All proposed awards will be reviewed and approved by the Awards Committee before formal recognition.
Selection and Evaluation Process
All awards will be evaluated by an independent panel comprising members of the Technical Program Committee, Industry Advisory Board, and Session Chairs. Each submission or nomination will be judged based on originality, technical merit, applicability, and impact. The decisions of the evaluation committee will be final and binding.

Through these awards, ICSCCT 2026 reaffirms its dedication to advancing innovation, fostering collaboration, and bridging the gap between research and real-world applications across academia and industry.
The ICSCCT 2026 Awards & Recognitions follow a rigorous, transparent, and merit-based selection process to identify and honor the most deserving individuals and institutions in AI research, academic excellence, and cross-sector innovation. The process involves multiple levels of evaluation:
- Call for Nominations: Nominations are open for eligible individuals and organizations. Candidates could be nominated by peers, advisory members, or submit applications directly.
- Initial Screening (2–3 Days): A preliminary review team verified the completeness of each application, ensuring eligibility based on category-specific criteria. Incomplete or ineligible applications were screened out at this stage.
- Expert Committee Evaluation (10–12 Days): Each eligible nomination was reviewed by a panel of domain experts and members of the ICSCCT 2026 Awards & Recognitions Steering Committee. Evaluations were conducted using predefined and objective criteria, including:
- Innovation and Originality
- Measurable Impact and Outcomes
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Contribution to Global AI and Technology Ecosystems
- Final Review & Approval: The final awardees were selected by the ICSCCT 2026 Awards & Recognitions Advisory & Governance Council, based on aggregated review scores, feedback, and strategic alignment with the award’s vision.
Selection Ratio: Only the top 5–7% of nominations in each category were selected—highlighting the exceptional quality and transformative impact of the winners.
